Environmental policy<\/h1>

Environmental protection is part of the Group's commitment<\/strong> with responsible management of its warehousing, packing, co-packing, bagging, shrink-wrapping and picking activities, carried out at all its work centres.<\/p>

This Environmental Policy applies to all the Group's companies and all of its centres<\/strong>, and is established with a Conservative approach<\/strong>, oriented towards legal compliance, the control of environmental impacts and pollution prevention.<\/p>

Principles and commitments<\/strong><\/p>

The Group is committed to:<\/p>

  • comply with Environmental legislation applicable<\/strong> and other requirements that the organisation subscribes to.<\/li>
  • To prevent pollution derived from its processes by controlling the environmental aspects associated with:
    • The generation and management of waste.<\/li>
    • Energy consumption.<\/li>
    • Water consumption.<\/li>
    • The use and control of chemicals.<\/li>
    • Transport linked to logistics activity.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Manage the generated waste<\/strong> in accordance with current regulations, ensuring their adequate segregation, storage, and delivery to authorised waste managers.<\/li>
    • Promote the Efficient use of resources<\/strong>, avoiding unnecessary consumption and promoting good operational practices.<\/li>
    • To ensure that the Group's activities are carried out while minimising any significant environmental impact on the surroundings.<\/li><\/ul>

      Environmental Management and Control<\/strong><\/p>

      The Group is committed to:<\/p>

      • Identify and control the Environmental aspects<\/strong> products of their activity.<\/li>
      • Maintain reliable environmental records, especially concerning waste.<\/li>
      • Set Realistic and measurable environmental objectives<\/strong>, in accordance with the nature of the activity and its level of impact.<\/li>
      • Periodically review this policy to ensure its suitability for the organisation's evolution and applicable regulations.<\/li><\/ul>

        People and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>

        The Group Directorate assumes leadership of this policy and commits to:<\/p>

        • Disseminate the Environmental Policy to all staff.<\/li>
        • Assign clear environmental responsibilities.<\/li>
        • To ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures.<\/li>
        • Take corrective action for any environmental deviation detected.<\/li><\/ul>

          All Group staff are responsible for:<\/p>

          • Act with responsibility and respect for the environment in the performance of your duties.<\/li>
          • To correctly utilise the resources and assets made available to you.<\/li>
          • Comply with established environmental rules and procedures.<\/li>
          • Report any environmental incidents you detect.<\/li><\/ul>
